Smalls for All® is a Scottish charity that collects and distributes underwear to help adults and children in Africa and the UK.
In Africa, they help those living in orphanages, slums, IDP (internally displaced persons) camps and schools, as well as those in hospitals suffering from medical conditions like obstetric fistula. While people living in western society tend to have easy access to underwear and take it for granted, in many more remote or poorer parts of Africa, that’s far from the case. Underwear is a luxury that isn’t easily available and, if it is, many people just can’t afford.
Giving pants and brasmay seem like a small thing, but it can make a life-changing difference. For example, having pants can help teenage girls complete their education without having to miss school each month during their period.
We receive requests from within the UK, too, for donations of underwear. The need may be less, but it’s still very real. So we also help charities that focus on alleviating poverty in the UK by providing them with underwear. For example, school uniform banks and charities that support the homeless.
They accept donations of new pants and new bras and gently worn (laundered) bras. If you have any new or gently worn bras, or new pants stashed away that you are happy to donate, Smalls for All
® would really appreciate your donation. If this is a cause you would like to support, please add a Bra Donation Bag to your cart. We will then provide you with a free, pre-addressed mailbag that you can use to donate your bras. Postage required.
